VTS Immob light & Ticking noise

    Just done the brakes on VTS.
    Went up the shop in it, and noticed the immobiliser light is on. And it dont go off at all.
    But the car has a complete aftermarket alarm, and it still starts etc so whats could be causing it come on.

    Also when i got to the shop i left it idling outside and i noticed the engine is ticking.. Like theres low oil. But i checked that this morning and its just below max.

    Any ideas, as his coming to collect it at 5?
