Saxo's and 106's What next?

Im not ready to switch from my 1.25 Fiesta yet but just starting to look at what to get next and it's near enough only a Saxo or 106 that i want.

Now im not too technical about cars so all i have been looking at is 0-60 and MPG stats of all the options. Has to be 3 Door and reasonable to insure for a 17 year old, so no VTR+ yet :'(.

The Saxo Furio has 0-60 of 11.2 and mpg 44.1 but the same engined Pug 106 Quicksilver has 0-60 12.8 and similar MPG ? What is different here?? Then the Pug Zest 2 1.1 has a 0-60 of 12.5 but better mpg ? faster than the Quicksilver with a smaller engine???

My Fiesta has 0-60 of 11.9 with mpg of 39? and is 16v am i going to notice any real difference going to a slightly bigger engine but 8v?

And is Saxo reliability really that bad?

    Thanks

saxos are quite reliable, aslong as you look after them well, and dont abuse them or thrash them about. Dont be like, racing off from cold, wheel spinning everywhere. Do that to any normal car, and its not going to like it.

the whole 16v - 8v thing, you will notice. 16v is alot more responsive and alot more like 'umph' if you get my meaning.

Quiksilver has same performance as a furio/westcoast - its just that pug test their cars with a larger load than citroen!
