#7If you willing to up your price a little bit then go for this dude.. http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php...n-saxo-8v.html
The Raceland Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold is our budget exhaust manifold for the 8v engines on the Citroen Saxo.
This Raceland manifold is designed for use with the Mk1 models with the oil filter on the block. To fit to a Mk2 Saxo / 106 (remote oil filter) you will need to convert to a Mk1 oil filter and will need the following parts:
1.Oil filter insert - Citroen part number 1103A7
2.Mk1 Oil Filter - Citroen part number 1109N3
3.M10 Tap
4.M10 Screw (to block oil return hole)
If you do not want to modify the oil filter for fitment onto the Mk2 8v, Raceland make a 4-1 manifold that will fit straight on
The Raceland 4-2-1 exhaust manifold offers increased performance over the OEM manifold and downpipe. When comparing cost vs performance the Raceland manifold is second to none! Raceland Stainless Steel 4-2-1 Manifolds are built with laser cut flanges, high quality T409NG stainless steel and mainly utilise mandrel bends to optimise the flow
All Raceland Manifolds have a 5 year warranty against manufacturer defects.
Due to the budget nature of this Manifold some alterations may be needed to successfully fit your car. More expensive manifolds such as the Supersprint 4-2-1 and the Piper 4-1 Exhaust Manifolds offer superior build quality. Kam Racing cannot be held responsible for any additional fitting costs you may incur. -
#8you can get the above for mk2's as well so you don;t ave to move oil filter
-
#9Im sure the piper and supersprint 4-2-1 just miss the mk2 oil filter but with the heat it just melts the filter
-
#10cant wait to decat mines, just waitin for the mot next month then doin it
-
#11Supersprint manifold is the way forward, such a straight forward fit, takes no time at all to change really.
-
#12Just picked up an 03 plate vtr will be getting a raceland 4 branch fitted one to my mates rally car earlier this year not a bad fit and nicely made for the money
-
#14i had one so def are availble. mk2 raceland mani avoids the oil filterQuote:You cant buddy, i think its only the SS manifold where its a straight fit, thats what am going to do anyways when i get my manifold, pay that bit extra and get the ss mani.
theres also the loads of others that are for mk2, supersprint, sportex, raceland and janspeed. -
#15your talking about the 4-1 raceland manifold, which has already been mentionedQuote:i had one so def are availble. mk2 raceland mani avoids the oil filter
your confusing people becasue they are thinking your saying you can get a raceland 4-2-1 that fits mk2's with no modification which doesnt exist
-
#16i does exist raceland 4-2-1 mani for mk2's i spoke to tuning leader ordered one.
-
#18tuning leader sell a mk2 version. i would show u but deleted email. mk2 version avoids oild filter and comes in 2 parts. it was on ebay but hasn;t been relisted
-
#19i dont wanna start an arguement but you cant get raceland 4-2-1's which fit straight to the mk2's, yes they bolt on but it wont miss the oil filter, will have to be changed to the mk1 oil filter
-
#20when i find it i will post it. for mk2's
-
#22none of these are RACELAND manifolds this is what we are getting at YOU CANT BUY RACELAND 4-2-1 MANIFOLDS FOR MK2'SQuote:
we arent saying other manufacturers dont do them -
#23i know i can;t find racelands one. i will email guy get him to sent it again
-
#25it was on ebay cos it was more expensive to mk1 version i had it saved for months till i got mine now when i need it can;t find it anywhereQuote:yea theres a reason why you cant find it because they dont make it lol

gonna admit defeat tho cos i can;t be arsed to look for more mani's when i don;t need one now.
but one day one day i shall find it -
#26you can a raceland manifold that fits the mk2 that misses the oil filter, you can get them from kam racing, think they are close to £200 but atleast you wont have to convert your oil filter to the mk1 type.
-
#27even cheaper way is to take it off, take the insides of the cat out and put it back on, simples
-
#28Those two do miss the filter but yeah they do still sit very close to it and can melt the housing. Iv got the supersprint 421 which I heatwrapped to stop any melting issues and it works perfectly. Much better quality than the raceland aswell but you are paying for it I guess.
-
#29yes thats the raceland 4-1 not 4-2-1! read the whole of the thread...Quote:you can a raceland manifold that fits the mk2 that misses the oil filter, you can get them from kam racing, think they are close to £200 but atleast you wont have to convert your oil filter to the mk1 type.
been mentioned a trillion times already
id love to be proven wrong though... -
#30cheers for all the advice guys looks like ill be getting a ss mani 4-1
-
#31Im bout 2 put a 4 2 1 on my mk2 im guessin its a very good idea 2 heat wrap it then???Quote:Those two do miss the filter but yeah they do still sit very close to it and can melt the housing.
