vts runing rich

   hi i have noticed that sometimes when the car has been on a long journey it has a strong smell of petrol from the exhaust but other times it smells fine it had a new cat last month also the eml light has come on does anyone no what might be the problem. any help would be great

   check emissions i'd say, or if you think your cars burning more fuel then it should then something is wrong.

   got same problem here. Would it still be the lamba sensor if the engine management light wasnt on?

   some days its fine im going to get a new lamda see if that sorts it
