What bottle for bleeding coolant

   What juice bottle do you guys use to bleed coolant? I used to use Irn Bru 2l's, but theyve changed the neck design. Tried a Dr Pepper and it didnt fit. Fuckbags.

   i never use a bottle, bleeds fine without.

   Fair enough. Did it once without a bottle and got an airlock, did it the next time with a bottle and got rid of the bubbles.
   
   When you guys do it do you just leave the cap off and leave it running, or do it with the cap on?

   use a coke bottle with a rag around the neck -bleed ,then let it idle -stop = bleed again.
   If you other lads ahve not had airlocks without using something to give you a higher head of water --you have been lucky .
   citroen tool is a rad cap attached to a 1.5litre bottle shaped unit

   Yeah thats the way I used to do it. Once the stat opened, the air would bubble out in scary amounts. Ill give a coke bottle a go and see if that fits my rad. Cheers john.
