throttle boddies

   want to put throttle boddies on the S and wondered if anyone knows how much it all costs to get done???

   kits - 500 +
   ecu - 500 +
   mapping - 300 +
   
   but thats the simple bits, ive spent so much and its still not on the road lol

   totali depends mate, i just bout some atpower bodies cost me 800quid, there is easyer and more expensive options though, main questions though...
   
   are you having
   -cams? 350
   -new tappets 200, shud be down when you change cams,
   -fpr 100ish
   -wideband 100 i believe but dont hold me to it
   -air fillter 140 for atpowers not sure about jenvys ect
   -mapping or standalone between 500-1500

   2500K plus. easy mate, whats millage ect of the engine? dose it need cam belt? tentions doing?
   
   tbh i think you wona run simlare spec to what i am doing,
   
   itbs, cams, standalone, 4-2-1 straight though?
   
   its not cheap...

   had tentions done will prob need cam belt doing...had a feeling would be bout that but its worth it but the missis not be impressed lol...but your car sounds pretty good to me bet it makes some noise

   gsxr bodies - 70-120
   172/182 injectors - 80
   ECU - 500??
   My ecu - DTA s40 (500) plus sandy brown loom (350)
   mapping from sandy with cam timing - 350
   itg filter with alloy plate - 115
   throttle cable - 18
   
   simple bits, then you can
   LC-1 wideband with gauge - 175
   fuel pipe, fittings, port and polish, rebuild, exhaust system, belts etc etc etc basically the list is end less. ive got to have spent 4k +

   bloody hell i best get some over time in at work then and start buying...but like i said it will all be worth it...but will the gearbox take it or drop a different one in?

   Sorting a setup out atm, basically will cost about £1500 using a mix of second hand parts and new. Jenvey bodies, pred ECU, 310cc injectors which are coming with it but obviously not needed.

    £1500 sounds good i dont mind using a mixture of things and see how it goes.

    gmc /atp bodies £695 +708cams £285+new lifters (advised)£160 new cambelt £24
    new fuel filter £8-std injectors will do for 708,s with 4.5fpr £50
    approx 5hours to fitcams+t/bodies --preditor ecu has map already installed to suit £495
    yes w/band would be good choice £135 or £165 inc in car gauge
    so parts cost inc vat=£1595 inc vat + preditor £495=£2089 +fitting.
    no other parts required--unless you wish to .
    If you find the gmc/atp bodies hard to fit --then you certaintly won,t like fitting or setting up any other type of t/bodies .
    air filter backplate + sponge --predrilled to fit £140 ----the £115 price quoted is for an undrilled unit --so
    I cannot see how anyone can say that is not a world beating deal --for all new parts .
    yes you can have ther choices of ecu +I admit DTA is my favorite ,that will lift the prcie by some but what I have quoted is the cheapest -system i would be happy with
