another q about rubbing on rear tyre, what to use to grind lip off?

Car is lowered 40mm. I had rubbing on my 15s, so i folded the lip away insted off cutting it and i didnt have the stuff i needed at the time. The lip is pretty well folded to be fair. But i expect a bit of ribbing on 195/45/15.

however i bought some pug raptors, 14" to stop this. and all i can say is the rubbing is worse i think.

any help apart from grind the lip off, im working on that idea.

more of an explantion as to why smaller tyres rub worse.

    cheers

am i right in thinking you are on standard shocks on the back?

if you are get some stiffer ones it will sort this problem out ive got gmax and i have vts wheels with 195/45/15.

i have had a full car 3 adults in the back and 2 in the front and never have i had my car scrap or rubb the wheels and my car is lowered 80mm on the back.

its you shocks that cant handle the sorter travel it has because its half compressed to start with so will be lot easier to bounce hence the rubbing
