Okay, new to Saxperience so please be nice! Basically I found water sitting in the passenger foot well the other day; thought it was the sunroof but I checked it out and it isn't. As far as I can see it is getting in through in a small area in or around the top corner of the windscreen and running down and resting under the carpet. Its starting to smell like a wet dog.
Also there appeared to be water dripping from the plastic at very bottom of the dash near the bonnet release lever. If I put my hand round behind directly to the left of the lever it felt wet. To me it didn't seem likely that the water was running from the other leak and finding its way there. There's like a small plastic 'box' bit attached to the plastic with metal on top which is all rusty. The water seems to be coming from this bit somehow. If you need help understanding where I mean I can upload some pictures lol.
The other day when it rained the whole underside of that plastic dashboard on the passenger side seemed to be wet as if the water was running along it
I'm also not 100 per cent sure of the first leak either... but it's really getting on my tits now.
Probably easy to find and fix, but any ideas? Want to get it fixed while its not raining all day every day!
Cheers,
mikejr
