Exhaust

   I got told my exhaust was blowing, its of the PECO variety..
   
   What are the problems with having an exhaust blow, i have heard you can lose power and waste more fuel?
   
   If someone could shed some light as to how much it should be and as above

   Depends on how large the leak is.

   if the hole is big the yes it probly will do, you will lose back pressure in the exhaust. it will use excessive fuel poor acceleration and obviously excessive noise. Without back pressure in the exhaust, the sensor on the exhaust gives an incorrect reading to the ecu, thinking there is too much unburnt oxygen in the exhaust fumes, the ecu supplies more fuel obviously getting into a pointless repetative circle.
