Petrol Gage Going Up & Down On Its Own?

    As above? When my petrols low it does it about 3 times..
    Any ideas why? It's scaring me...........

    mine did this lol i unplugged battery for 30 mins and then plugged it back in and sorted it just ma temp stopped working now

    yes do as above unplug battery 4 30 mins worked 4 me 2. If not could be the float of your fuel pump

    mine did this and it needed a new set of clocks works fine now.

    mine did this.. i was told to try the battery method as above.. change the sender unit.. or get new clocks.. i ended up gettin new clocks frm the scrappy for about 20quid or so.. easy to fit... works fine now..

    I find it go up when facing downhill and drops when facing uphill just put it down to poor float placement/attachment by citroen...

    yeah thats true.. iv found tht out lol!
    but i think he means when he starts the ignition it goes frm empty to full n bk to empty a few times
