Saxsport? Supersprint?

   So after putting up with a bodged powerflow for a while now ive decided i want a new full exhaust system. However i dont know what to decide on, at first i wanted the supersprint because i did quite like the sound it produced.
   
   Ive now stumbled upon the saxsport which is the saxo equivilent to the pugsport which i knew was the muts nuts for 106's. But im no expert when it comes to upgrades so if anyone can share some info on both systems and maybe point me in one direction i'd appreciate it

   I've just received my Saxsport and it's a very well made piece if kit!
   
   Sound wise I think they are fairly similar but the supersprint is mild steel not stainless, Kam Racings new system is stainless and takes over from the supersprint it's lighter than the saxsport but more expensive, which ever you go for though you will not be disappointed!

   were do you get saxsport from ? never seen them sound good any links so i can see what they are like ta

   They are made by Scorpion exhausts, google saxsport for their website.
   
   As for sound try YouTube, Jamie's Icelandic VTS is on there with a saxsport fitted

   i was thinking about getting a scorpion back box are they ant good ?

   Don't know mate, the saxsport is a complete saxo specific system which is highly thought of, personally I'd never just buy a backbox save up and get the systemand feel the benefits of a well designed and made exhaust!

   supersprint is aluminised steel. Much better than mild steel

   Hopefully its made better than the pugsport. When problems arise with the Pugsport it seems to split along the welds which could be due to the thickness of the metal used or just how well the welds penetrate..The other problem is all the weight is at the backbox so the hangers take a fair bit of punishment.

    They apparently fixed this problem Kev when Scorpion bought the rights to the design, it was the Magnex built one's that had this issue.
    
    Only reason I would not get one is because of 106 Parts.
    I wish you guys supplied them.

    We get numerous calls from people with problems with the pugsport. Sadly a lot of the time they are out of warranty which means we dont get them back to examine them. It could be that the welded joins get knocked and bashed. The reason I dont like the weight is its less likely to deflect if knocked.. As of yet we've only had one issue ever with the supersprint, the black paint flaked off one backbox, and touch wood absolutely no problems with our own KAM Racing version.. The benefit of the saxo is the backbox sits higher so is less likely to be damaged..

    Hmmm i might have a blast at the saxsport then seeming as you get unlimited warrenty so long as you keep the car. Also comes with full fitting kit so i dont need to buy one. Anyone had both on their saxo and can compare?

    I know that when I will be purchasing a new exhaust I'm going to get the kamracing system. Its much lighter than all the others on the market, and has been made to out perform others on the market.

    Got a supersprint and wouldnt go bck. Great sound and decent price. Kam racing r also very quick at delivery. get it on quicker

    The supersprint centre pipe with silencer and our KAM Racing backbox will be the quietest. Our backbox is an 8" diameter over the supersprint 6" diameter. Saxsport is a single box exhaust so would be louder, more like if you were running our backbox with a straight through race centre pipe

    What is the power increase of the Kam system & what is the average noise volume at 3/4 max revs on a vts ?
    
    Does the kam exhaust bolt straight on to a 4-2-1 or do you still need a decat ?

    Well it seems likethe forum has split 50 50 now lol. However im going to order the saxsport today i think. Didnt do it last week since my insurance came out
    
    Also for the guy that was asking about silencers, you can get the saxsport with one but its like 100 quid more...

    How long were peoples delivery times for the saxsport?
    
    Did you notice any change is fuel economy?

    took 5days, but nearly got stolen by the bin men, because couriers left mine lent against the house.. on bin day.. i managed to get home as the bin man was handling it..
    
    no real difference in economy... just a great sound

    2" race... with dummy-cat/silencer in the center section, its loud when you want it to be tbh, its not one of those chavvy exhausts which are loud on tickover!

    Right lads, I've done it. Saxsport is ordered, hopefully have it by the end of the week I'm going to send them an email just to make sure it gets posted and i get a tracking number! Once i get it fitted I'll be sure to post a video

    Prefer the look and sound of the Kam Racing/Supersprint systems if im honest, i saw and heard the Saxsport in person yesterday for the first time in my honest opinion it sounded too tinny where as the Kam Racing/Supersprint systems sound a bit more meaty and give off a better tone.

    Small update: I got a reply from the guys at saxsport and they assured me that my pack will be getting posted tomorrow and be with me by wednesday

    Seriously?! They still haven't bothered to email me back...
    Edit: got a reply, somethign messed up on the site and they didnt recive the order but the money went through, getting posted tomorrow and got £25 discount so it's not all bad
