All those that stuck Iphone in there centre console?

   Well Basically, I want like a slide in, slide out thing for my iPhone. When covering the heater vents, Do I need todo anything special? Or can I just fill the gaps and then fill, sand and spray? cause surely the little bits of air, that leak from the heating, is going to make my dash get VERY hot? and I dont want it melting my iPhone.

   so are you going to cover the entire bit where the vent is?
   
   i made something there to hold my iTouch but made a hole in it with some mesh behind it so that the air can still come through, not sure yet if the thing i made will melt in the winter lol

   if u wanna block the whole thing up then the best thing to do is glue that flap shut, the one that opens to let the air through
   having said that i dont believe that the heating will get so hot that it is a problem

   do what im doing mate
   iv custom made a holder in my airvent and to stop the air from getting out iv screwed a plate over the heater vent

   tray bellow the ash tray is no good for itouch or iphone cus u need to actually look down to change song etc

    this is the card template i made of the holder, i cant get to my car right now so this is all i got atm
    the template doesn't have the hole for the vent but its on the left side, u can just about see the pencil outline tho
