how to remove a rear axle

   hi every one
   
   its not a saxo but a xsara (all the same tho)
   
   how do i remove the complete rear axle, i just bought a new 1 and mines bent and needs replacing.
   
   i know a fair bit on cars but never done this job before..
   
   any out there with a step to step guide and and tricky bits doing it, any tips helpful and is there any special tools needed

   xsara axle is different to saxo axle, on rubber mounts same as a 306 rether then bolted up like a saxo

   Pretty straight forward, just look at it and way it up what you will need to do ie undo brake lines, handbrake, exhaust off....... then unbolt the axle. I did my saxo axle in 4 hours in the front garden and that was with changing both hubs and having to fit another caliper due to a bleed nipple busting.
