   and I am sure you need to weld a plate onto the slam panel to get it positioned right. Try a search

   wings: £30 each
   bonnet £60
   slam panel £30
   headlights £40

   ive got 1 mk1 and 1 mk2 and ive got a spare mk1 front end i was told that something might need welding but he didnt know what it was is this true or is it just a straight swap

   it is a straight swap, no welding needed as few months ago changed my mates mk1 front end as he had a bump, to a mk2 front end. slam panel just bolts on. the rest of the body panels bolt on around it. just have to line up everything for a good result.
