Will a MK1 VTS hub/strut fit my MK2 VTS W reg (2000)

   Is there any difference between a hub/strut off a MK1 VTS and one off a MK2 VTS? I have a W reg (2000) VTS and am looking to buy a secondhand hub/strut. I've found one which looks in great condition taken off a MK1 VTS. Just wondered if there was ever any changes made at all?

   The only difference between them is abs and tapered and non tapered drive shaft I think someone correct me if I'm wrong

   hub and wheel bearing are different

   most probably wont fit, most mk1's have flat drive shafts and mk2's usually have tapered ones, so you'll be fitting a tapered shaft in to a hub designed for a flat shaft

   My MK1 was tapered. As I said. It depends on when it was manufactured.
