Hello, just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this...

Got a vtr 52 plate, but its sloww?

wont go past 105 mph ( on a private road )

but mainly the accleration is poor, my mates 1.4 furio pulls away from mine, pretty well tbh, my old vtr was noticably faster, does anyone know wot it might be?

Just to say my tyres arent flat, breaks are not sticking, it has got a vtr engine + gearbox. dont really know where to start? can anyone help? cheers.

Service it properly, give it a bit of redex, check sensors for damage/connected.

When I serviced my 03 VTR last year I put NGK plugs in.

Felt so slow and unresponsive, straight after.

After taking it for diagnostics, nothing showed up as being wrong.

The tester asked what plugs I was using, and said form his experience despite being good plugs he'd seen a few saxos that didn't run well with then.

Following his advise I changed to Bosch super 4's

    Has run great ever since.

Might not be your problem, but maybe worth a try.
