   Will the arch/bumpstrips off an s1 xsi fit a mk1 saxo? And are the 1.4 xsi's faster than saxo 1.4?

   You could make them fit but no they arnt a straight swap. 1.4 xsi is about the same

   Says on parkers they have 100Bhp. They only reason I'm asking is my bro has one for sale for £200 which would need about 300£ wrth of wrk.

   Xsi 1.4 is quicker than a saxo 1.4, sport ratios in the box, more powerful cam 75 vs 100bhp and lighter!

   It's only a 1.4 xsi so i can't be faster than a vtr can it? Reckon it's wrth it for 200£??

   well its got more bhp than a vtr.... i think lewis was getting confused with the S1 xs which is 75 bhp, the xsi is 100 bhp, you can get a 1.6 xsi as well which is about 105bhp iirc
   
   the S2 xs is a 90bhp 1.6 8v engine the same as the mk1 vtr, but has shit suspension and brakes

   Yeah was thinking of buying it, and then have it as a project on the side and keep my saxo on the road till it's done.

    simple minds
    
    bigger doesnt mean better
    
    vtr - 90bhp and 98bhp
    XSi 1.4 - 100bhp
    xsi 1.6 - 105bhp
    
    when i had my old xsi the vtr's didnt get a say even when in my Rallye 1.3 again 100bhp

    buy it, be the best choice in a while lol
    
    they are sort after, and are worth way more than 200
    
    also remember thier lighter and have better gearbox
