my car hates the rain

   basically, the VTR runs perfectly fine when its dry. damp, its fine
   
   however, when it absolutely POURS it down, its fine for about 5 minutes, then hesitates and feels like its missing. put my foot down and theres nothing at all, just judders!
   
   turn it off, leave it to dry, then engine lights on but runs fine again until more rain
   
   anyone have any ideas?

   Have you checked your air filter??

   mine does the same, its just had a full service aswel.
