Headgasket! Really worried!

   GUYS AM REALLY WORRIED
   
   Ive rectenly bought a VTS which has been sitting on my drive for around 3 weeks now, i start her up from time to time "Not for long" But the other day i started her up and found some WHITE STUFF on the oil cap!!
   
   Could this be from where its been sitting?
   Or headgaskets gone?
   
   The car had its head rebuild at 74,000 its now done 84,000!
   
   PLEASE HELP AM WORRED SICK, IVE WORKED SO HARD FOR THIS CAR

   I have just changed the oil and filtter, so its brand NEW clear oil.

   Sounds like condensation bud, that's what happened to my old corsa sport when i left it for 2 weeks when i went on holiday, just take it for a longish drive and it should clear up bud

   Assuming the head gasket was replaced at 74k then the only way it would be on its way out would be if it was incorrectly fitted or ragged to fook
   
   Its more likely condensation as mentioned above
   
   Have a compression test done

   if you were local i'd do one for you! shouldnt cost much. It's a very simple test.

   You should get a sniffer test done to check if the coolant has been contaminated by oil. (usually because of HG failure)

   i would say all it is is that you have been starting it up and it has not got up to temp so it is condensation just give it a engine flush and oil chang should solve the promble

    just drop the coolant put new in ...bleed the system take it for long drive and keep a eye on it as said above its condensation have you still got hot air blowing from vents
