As above, i've just bought some spax psx dampers, is it worth uprating the bush's too? Its going on a fast road VTS used daily, not a track slag. Price seems hefty for some plasic?
Are polybushes worth it?

Poly urathane is a thermo-setting polymer plastic?
How noticable is the difference from the oem rubber mounts that come with the psx shocks? -
#4I run spax psx with poly bushes front end kit , fitted by manic motors
Here is the handling set on 20 out of 28 on the shocks

#5Seen that video before mate, your car corners really flat and to be honest that video made me look at the psx's

#6There is less give in Polybushes therefore the load is put through the suspension rather wobbly bushes so if you don't upgrade you've got stiffer shocks but old worn bushes that are taking the strain not your shiny new suspension...
Seems pointless getting new shocks and springs but leaving the bits that actually connect them to them to car which are old and worn out, ideally the whole lot should be changed together for maximum benefit (and ease), never tried to buy OEM grade bushes but would be interesting to see how much they are against the likes of powerflex
IMO it's criminal not to uprate your bushes having forked out for a new set-up! (personally wouldn't of spent the extra for PSX...or gone for Spax at all but that's another matter...)

#8Polybushes are 100% worth it.
On any car I'll own, if it ever needs any new bushes, I'll look for a polybush replacement before an oem replacement. -
#9They sure are. Fitted all the front wishbone ones and arb ones and it's much more responsive on turn in.
