Lowering my car...

  1. #1
    Hi,

I just had to get my rear axel replaced, the one that i had fitted has been lowered, looks about 30-40mm so i'm debating on dropping the front 35-40mm. What would be the best way to just drop the front? could i purchase just the springs and fit them in? or is it best to get the whole suspension kits that are around £200?

    Cheers

this is the problem, i would want to spend as little as possible but without buying crap! so if i could keep it under £200 that would be nice! it would be awesome if i could just spend £60 and get the springs but i'm not sure if i can do that....

if you put springs on normal shocks they wont last very long tbh
your better off buying the kit

the other option is, the person i got the axel off, he is selling his two front axels for £60, they have lowered springs on, could i just buy those? im not sure if he has different shocks on or anything though, and he isn't sure....

think im gonna go for the spax 40mm springs and just chuck them on the original shocks
