rite then all i wana know is how i can get the most out my vts without spending copious amounts of money on it
will be putting an enclosed induction kit and cold air feed on it,has morrettes and both inner lenses removed to allow more cold air to get in and the bonnet is raised to let the hot air escape
putting a 1.1 box on it till i get my vts box re conned as i have killed it lol
have ordered some uprated plug leads and some bosh super 4 plugs

i know the obvious like exhaust,de cat

but without shelling out for cams new ecu etc is there owt else i can do to make it go a little quicker lol(i have a kid and another on the way so money is tight and i need the rear seats lol)

there isnt going to be anything you can do on a small budget as you have the basics covered anything above the basic requires more money, as the next step from where you are now would be cams, headwork, remap. Then moving on further have a lightened/balanced crank/rods/flywheel, then even further would be boost so i cant really think of anything that you can do cheaply unless you stripped it which obviously is out of the question lol

first id cancel your order for new plug leads, your engine doesnt have any.
second get a 4-2-1, decat and straight through, and a set of ph3's then if youve got no money left start saving for a map

thats a bloody good point on the plug leads lol
what are ph3's when there at home??

Firstly you are not going to see a difference in performance from expensive spark plugs. Replace them when knackered.
I would also not get any camshafts as this will increase your fuel bills.
Look at maximising what you have. Run a 4-2-1 manifold as mentioned above and a decent exhaust system. I'd recommend ours but there are others..

I would also look at running a panel filter such as a K&N, then ducting a cold air feed directly in from the morettes.

Then maybe some suspension. Good budget option would be an Apex kit. None of the mods would spoil the day to day running and will enhance what is already there.

I'd fit some CG-locks all round, driver, passenger and little one, so everyone is nicely held in place when you are enjoying the bends. You will be able to feel what the car is doing far better making you safer on the road.
