Exhaust question ..... again

    I have a few questions involving exhaust systems and just back box's for my 1.1. I want a exhaust note that is pretty loud and has a bit of a rasp. Now I have thought supersprint is best but I am also thinking about sportex backbox, kam racing system and a saxsport race system. thank you for reading and thank you for all answers.

    1. which of these back boxes will give you the most rasp in the sound

    2. would sportex be loud and raspy

    3. would a saxsport, supersprint, kam racing system fit a 1.1 with a standard flatty back bumper.

    4. the saxsport I want is a decat centre section and I want to keep me cat and it is in the manifold can I keep my cat with this system.

    I know I will not see any performance gains but just want a good sound.

    Best exhaust to get rasp from on a 1.1 would be to buy a used Supersprint backbox that's had most of it's baffles blown out and run a decat.

    Not many exhausts are going to make a 1.1 sound "raspy"

    Doubt it mate, back pressure is what creates the "rasp" sound.

    do you get more back pressure when you remove the cat?

    and out of the above exhausts which would you suggest to buy brand new
