anybody know if archwork is needed for 16's on low profile tyres, on a VTR. sorry if thats a bit vague! any help appreciated! thanks

#6It depends what your offset is mate...
You may have to trim the bottom of your wheelarch liners... and it depends how low profile your tyres are... if you lower it you may have to adjust the position of your washer bottle..
SHOULD be alright though... -

i am just about to buy myself a set of rims so have been doing all the research aswell! im just going to settle on 15s as it saves a whole load of hassle... and when i slam my car later in the year it will look the dogs...

#916's are fine with 195/40/16 tyres, lowered 45mm and had no scrubbage what so ever. No cutting away arches or anything either.

#11Yep, if you get 16's and 40 profile tyres, no arch mods will be required, you could even go down 60mm and still only get a little scrubbing on full lock
