Oil on spark plugs?

   Changed the plugs on my mates vts and on cylinders 1 & 3 the spark plugs were reallllly oily. the cars on 100,000 miles. What does this suggest? worn piston rings? head gasket failure?

   I have this aswell, others have said its the cam cover's leaking, as mine's not losing any oil at all apart from it leaking at the cam cover on mine

   now you say it , you could be right as there was oil under the coil pack. so whats that then, just the rocker cover gasket?
   
   but then oil was actually on the inside of the cylinder
