Raceland induction kit

    Just fitted it to my furio today. I managed to get it to fit very well however nothings holding it up so it seems to b resting on the radiatior and wot ever else is round that area lol. Is that ok? Can it melt/warp?

    no it shouldnt be resting on anything you need to make brackets to attatch it to the slam pannel i just used 2 peices of mwtal strap and 4 bolts 2 rubber washers to stop vibrations and its fine and sits perfect .

    head to halfords and ger some exhaust heat tape wrap the bottom up to protect from the heat shield manifold.
    then halfords also sell speaker brackets in the audio sectioni bent them up to use as bracket and are still able to use original holes and bolts.

    I got some brackets from wickes and drilled a tiny bit bigger hole so I could use my original cold air feed bracket holes. Sits perfect

    My old gti raceland one was just resting and was marking the encloser, eventually it rubbed right through.

    Your better getting it mounts to the slam panel
