Went out to start the nova this morning, fired it up and as was putting fasia on stereo is stalled, so re-started it, and while waiting for this missus to come out, it stall again, so started it pulled off and took it up to 4000rpm, after that it idled fine. theres no funny engine noises far as i know(carnt realy hear) because exhaust is loud and cause i got no air filter on it engine is noisy anyway

    Any help would be great

Had these fualt codes also. But cleared them and aint come back

72 Throttle Switch (TS) - full load contact High voltage
44 Oxygen sensor Air/fuel mixture too lean

no air filter on an engine is not a good idea. my saxo stalled sometimes for no reason now and again , if it does it more often id start to worry about it. when did you last service it ?

I used to have this problem on my XE nova, It also wouldnt rev past 4k, i unplugged the air flow meter and it ran fine so changed it and it solved the problem. Try unplugging it, see if its any better, if so, then thats the problem. hope this helps..

It will probably run a bit lumpy when you unplug it(unless it does already).Leave it warm up and it should be fine tho.

Its just shit on cold idle cause it stalls, other than that its runs fine.
    Drives well once warm.
Most people have said its cause there is no airfilter but its always been run like this.

Fuck all to do with the airfilter.XE's and LET's aint that fussy, they'll run fine without. Sounds like the afm to me especially if its only on cold start. Id put money on it running fine without. Is it on standard management?

I'm not familiar with aftermarket management for these engines.

Best bet is to go on www.migweb.co.uk and ask there, give a detailed explanation of the problem and what ecu you got etc.

i would go for air flow meter or cold start ?

Sure you havent got a split on any intake pipes after the afm?
