clio starting problems!

   right now then let me fill you in a little basically my dad has left his car over the weekend and went to start it when he did it started and then it cut out since then when you turn the key it just clicks and has a dull whirring(i think most likely fuel pump priming?) and nothing
   
   any ideas?
   
   my first one was immob?
   
   but any help would be great (its a 2003 clio 1.4 if it makes a difference)

   charge the battery or use a booster pack mate its eitha your starter solanoid has stuck ''renault problem'' or the battery is too dead to give the starter motor enough juice.

   put it on jump leads already and it did nothing
   
   sounds like a starter solenoid then

   Make sure the starter is earthed, that happened to someone at works car in the car park, quick tighten of the earth wire and started first time easy peasy
