VTS Cat on a MK2 VTR

  1. #1
Right, MOT is coming up soon as car is coming closer and closer to ready and i dont want to remove the 4-2-1 manifold (which decats my car)

I have only one lambda connected at the moment, other one was removed for the cat itself, the motor factors i know do a VTS underfloor cat for £39.00, or i could get a VTR underfloor cat for £59.00

Just wondering if the VTS Cat would work allot better than the VTR Cat, and also if i could use a standard VTR lambda sensor (will have to extend it, is this a simple case of splicing the wires?)

    Thanks.

    Someone must know this.

The VTR and VTS cats are in different locations,

    VTR on manifold
    VTS after manifold

Yeah that's the thing, I'm keeping my 4-2-1 Manifold that decats my car, just needing to know if the VTS cat is good enough for a mk2 vtr

As far as im aware it is, its just the fact its located in a different position.
