vts engine problems pls help

   Right then I have a vts on a y plate its done just over 100k when I turn it over and let it run it sounds really lumpy and try to die the other day I broke down as I lose all power I check the plugs and change them as where covered with soot its like if I leave it running it will start hunting when I broke down I keeped trying to turning it over all I could smell was fuel after leaving it 4about a hour it turned over runs ok then starts hunting at trafic lights or when I'm stopped the power steering stop working 4a little bit to but its started work again after a little bit

   Also when I lost the power the car was trying to turn off I keeped pressing the pedal down but its like there was no power car seems very fast when on the mot way it flys it seems when I'm drive slow

   And there is a big smell of fuel and it sound like the air filter sucking to much as on tic over that's all u can hear

   Could be a fuelling error mate

   Some people say it's worth resetting the ecu, regarding finding the fault it's all trial and error if you do it yourself, sounds silly but google saxo vts fuelling error and see what comes up youd be surprised what's out there!
