This may sound really daft, and i know your gonna call me a idiot lmao. but would this work.

if you altered your heater vents so that instead of it going into the car, it was altered and re-piped into the throttle body?

as you can put it on cold and turn the heater up haha. a controlled type turbo

Why not just get a compressor and shove a pipe down your throttle then activate it

This could change the way people turbo their cars forever :Onotlol
  13. #13
    Do these three steps:
    1) Get a rope.
    2) Tie it around your neck
    3) Pull really hard.

    Your strangling yourself right?....
Because that's what you will be doing to your engine if you carried out this plan.

The heater motor from behind the dash! I was taking the car back to a shell, and thought why not have the heater motor for a turbo lol.

Great minds think alike mate...I think we could start a business?

but if the heater matrix was under the bonet, it would be sucking in air from outside

what rpm does the heater motor spin at to produce an exceeding amount of velocity than whats already beinf pulled through by the standard system...lol
  26. #26
years ago i spoke to a chap with one of these electric superchargers, which was basically a small fan in the induction pipe.

when tested it made more power switched off than on, as the air flow could spin the blades faster than the motor could when it was on, meaning when it was on it actually caused a restriction

It also made more power again when completely removed.

The pressure of air as a ram effect is huge
  27. #27
think the atmospheric pressure for a N/A car's inlet is 14psi so unless the heater blower motor can exceed 14psi of air pressure then it will work about as well as a self tapping screw made of chocolate!

    are you real lol
