honda question - lights

hi, ino this is a bit or an odd question to ask on a saxo forum but hey if you dont ask you dont get so ill ask and see what i get,

is there anyone on here that can help and tell me if rear lights of a 1995 sedan will fit onto a 1994civic hatch? im looking at some rear black glass effect (mirror type affect, tinted)lights from the above car, they look more or less the same butdo they fit the same? ino they also fit a 2/4 dr coupe if thats helpfull?

Honda parts are infamous for appearing identical but having completly different methods of attaching. E.g. My coupe wing mirror looked identical to the saloon mirror but had different locating holes.

Id advise you go ask on hondacivicforum.com or try a set on your car as they appear identical but i cant gaurentee they are a straight swap

yeah they will fit there all the same rear lights until 2000 then they changed them to a different shape so will be fine.

Erm, they're not all the same lights at all. 95 will be EG shape (flat lights), 96 -2000 is EK (more triangular lights).

Although I can't answer the OP's question.

But you weren't. Like I said, EGs were only up to 96, so they aren't all the same rear lights until 2000, like you said.

eg civics were made up until 2000 the production ended in 2000 just because they braught the new model ek out dosnt mean thay stopped making them my eg was a 2000 plate.

They didn't. Maybe it was left unregistered for a few years, or imported and registered in 2000...
