Custom Front Grill and Bumber - HELP plz

  1. #1
    Hi guys,
Iv seen this pic on the net and im really liking the idea of the grill and fog lightsts.

If i was to go for this what would it take to do so? iv had a quick search but could only find info on meshing rather then having the single struts across.

Has anyone done this before that can help me with a step by step guide?

    cheers

Thats a photoshop mate, where exactly did you find the pic as im curios?

The grill has been done loads before, you just use a donor grill and lots of fibreglass/filler work.

The fog lights have been done the same way but by using the centre slats from a donor bumper inserted into the foglight hole and of corse tidied up.

Iv seen the grill be done but not the fog lights, thought it would finish the euro look off nicely.

Just wanted to know what it would be like to do my self, not sure if im up to the job or not lol

and i found it on google by chance really.

you can buy a vtr 1997 grill that looks the same, all you need to do is take off the badges. as for the fogs, get somone who is widemouthing their bumper and to give you the cut out but, cut it to size and fiberglass on

i think it would look better with fogs smoothed in tbh although it does look good just think it would look better.

I done the lower slat on my car like that - I work in the trade and still took me a few hours to get the job done correctly - Removing the vertical slats and plastic welding up the hole - then fiberglassing and filler'ing. Fogs would be easy but like someone has already posted it would require a donor bumper or someone's spare slat to make..

If you dont know what you are doing i wouldnt recommend taking on this kind of job..
