Knocking from left hand front side sometimes.

Well, i get a sort of clunking noise when turning both left and right.

It doesnt do it everytime but like 3 / 10 turns it will knock.

I just had a MOT and pointed it out for them to check but theres nothing they said it could be.

Ive recently had my PAS pipe changed since that was rubbing so was thinking perhaps its that pipe knocking or where the system had been dry for a while.

    Any ideas?

Could be a fair few things, Check the drop links to see if they are knackered, split in the cv joint?, Is the wishbone tight under the car? wheel arch lining loose?

just had a mot so shouldnt really have any of those other than a loose arch lining depending on where it was mot'd

Yeah it shouldn't but MOT testers are only human, they can miss things, no harm in checking

id say check drop links, as i looked at a freinds car, and he had the same problem that sounds like yours, so replaced that, and the nocking went, they dont cost a great deal anyway, and if yours are getting on a bit, its always worth to change them
