Would i pass mot with 1 bucket seat and harness and nothing else?

I've got my MOT next wednesday and am selling one of my bucket seats so i can get some front 106 gti half leather seats.

What i want to know though is if i will pass with just one bucket seat with harness?

As long as you've taken the seats and seatbelts out where the other seats should be it'll be fine.

A quick phonecall to the mot station before the mot would be recommended.

As above (told to me by an MOT tester), if it isn't there to be checked then it can't fail

Although, you can get advised for it. 2 years of MOTs without mention, then it pops up on my advisory.

    'Rear seats have been removed'.
'Only front drivers and passenger seats fitted'.

Nice of them to advise me... Just incase I hadn't realised.

Probably to cover his back. If you had removed your rear seats and belts couse they wernt working and was going to put them back after the MOT and you had an accident etc. Then theyd investigate it all n find out you had shit seatbelts and be asking why the MOT dude passed them.

wont fail, aslong as all belts have been removed, aswell as the seats, i.e no bench but the belts are in, will fail...

the advisory, may or may not happen!
if they cant test something, they can put it down, to say they had no access to it. in this instance, been removed.

im sure there is an MOT sticky on here, explaining the rules and such, i think?
