door cards re trimmed??

   hi just wandered if any one knows how much it would be to re trim 2 door cards in firstly cloth and secondly leather?
   At the moment i still have those awful furio ones but i now have 106 leather interior so need door cards to finish it off!what colour do you recomend and if anyone has got pics that would really help too.thanks.

   Hi Amy and welcome to Sax-p
   
   A few guys on the site have covered the fabric on the doorcards with a black swade to give a simular look to the fabic on the GTI seats. The fabric is less then £20 and you can do this yourself.
   
   Would be alot cheaper then paying for a retirm.

   that sounds like the best to match and really cheap but i just dont think i could do it my self, i would deffinately mess it right up!!! would any where do this service?thanks for help.

   my boyfriend will give it a go but is there a how to guide on this web site? does the fabric area have to be removed from the rest of the door card? i guess the fabric that is there has to be removed first, how do we go about stretching/sticking the fabric?

   You could just get some door cards from a 1.1, which are just black plastic (i think)
