Indicator relay or something playing up!

   Hey guys just a problem ive had over the last week or so, when i go to indicate left my indicator seems to tick repeatidly fast like once in every 3 times i indicate, also this is bad because my indicator bulbs wont flash when this happens!
   
   Is this a common fault? is it easy to fix?

   either a blown bulb or the relay has packed up

   When an indicator bulb goes pop it flashes like mad on the side its gone.
   
   So....put your hazards on and walk round your car, locate the duff bulbs and replace them.
   
   That should fix it dude.

   probably a dodgy indicator stalk...very common on saxos.

   its deffinately not the bulb, done that hazard test and checked around they are all fine, the sound of the indicator ticks really fast sometimes and jams when indicating left, its really strange

   Sounds like the relay is sticking try changing that first as its cheaper if its not that then you will need a new indicator stalk.

   give the conecter behind the light a wiggle mines been doing it over the last month the metal clip had fallen off

   the wire going into the back of the headlight unit its a little grey connector

    as above, i would put money on it being the stalk, im a bit heaving handed and am on my 3rd one

    I reckon it is the stalk to, because when i indicate left when the stalk is fully down and i rest it up slightly it will tick as normal, but then when i let go and let it drop abit it the arrow indicator will dissapear and you hear the ticking double time
