VTR/VTS Gearbox in a 1.4 Furio??????

   Ayuppp my gearbox on my 1.4 furio is on its way out, changed the transmission fluid the other day and found quite alot of iron filings on the nut which i removed to drain the fluid.
   But im not sure whether a 1.6 VTR OR VTS gearbox will be alright to fit in my Furio?? What does everyone think?

   The filings are normal mate, as long as theres no big lumps in it?

   It was mainly just alot of small filings but with one clump which was abit bigger, how long do yu think it will last becasue its being driven alot atm and theres like a grumbling noise coming from the gearbox when im driving and its in gear but im not accelerating, if i touch the accelerator or put the clutch down the noise goes

   U don't need to put a bigger gearbox into a smaller engine.
   Think about putting a 1.1 gearbox on it will b fast off the line but top speed is about 115 but is fast of the line.
