digital dial correction whats involved?

   Hi replaced my 120mph digital dials as they broke now the new ones say 72000miles were i have only done 54. I have the electronical knowledge to do the task but whats involved in respect of kits, software and doing the job?
   
   Heard you have to do it from the diagnostic plug on the fuse box by the passangers feet, just need it setting back so its write with the car and doesnt look dodgy.
   
   Cant send the dials away to be done by anyone as they are my only pair and wont be able to get myself to work but happy enough for myself to do it.

   not sure how its done but definatly possible theres a guy on 106oc that does it for around £30 delivered. he maybe on this forum also username is ryan something

   theres a guy on here who unlocks ecu's etc. that can do it iirc

   Thanks for the reply guys but like stated cant send the dials as have no spare, So willing to do myself just need to know what i need and how to do it. The guy here is ryanmt he's brilliant but again doesnt live near. If i had a spare pair i would get it sent to be done

   if people are charging 60-75 quid to do it then i think you'd be very lucky if got them to tell you how to do it

   need to plug it into your laptop with a ''clocking'' program to lowe it my mate did mine for me when i got new dials. just remember clocking isnt illegal until you sell the car with false milage so make sure you do it accurate to the exact mile or the rozzers will be around.

    Where do you get the software ? is it a free download ?
