   Can anyone recommend best spark plugs for VTR 1997

   Look on ebay mate I bought some NGK`s genuine 1`s a lot cheaper than Halfords prices.

   NGK or Bosch (but not the 4 prong ones those are poor)

   Dont be trickd in to going for bosch super 4 etc as they wont give you any performance gain, they will just last longer.
   Your local car spares place should be able to sell you ngk or ngk r plugs for less than a tenner a set!
   Even though they come pre gapped its always worth makeing sure thex are set correctly
