how do you get primer off paint.

   hi people
   
   i recently sprayed my bumper strips gloss black but im afraid to say ive had abit of a howler and got a few bits of primer on the bumper is there a way of getting this off as it is proving quite difficult and i also dont want to damage the paintwork.

   abit of g3 compund some get it off then a good old polish wax etc after

   If its heavy overspay use 1500 w/d then g3 compound to restore the shine
   if just a light film use celly thinner on rag and wipe over dont get too much on rag though
   dont want to soften the original finnish
