got the wheel bearing fixed on the gti bout a month ago.
Its now making the same whining noise again, same side (driver side)

is it possible that it would go again that quickly?
ive pro race 1.2 alloys on her atm

or would it be anything else??

    thanks

are u running spacers? mine was eating wheel bearing when i had the longer wheel bolt spacers.
seem fine now have proper spacers on.
other than that could be a dodgy bearing gone on?

you could have streched the housing when changing this allows excess bearing movent therfore bearing life is shorted

    dont have any spacers on..

a garage did the wheel bearing

    anyone??

If the garage changed the wheel bearing then take it back to them and tell them it's not right. It may be a faulty part in which case it will be done under the warranty.

    Should be mate.
12months warranty atleast on the part.
Go to the garage mate, have a word with them...whatever you do, do not touch it until you have spoke to the garage because if they can prove you have touched it they can flatly refuse to do anything, and you cant do sweet f.a about it tbh.
Give them a call tomorrow...the least they can do is have a look

take it back and blame them

Pretty sure there are two different wheel bearings to choose from early and late type due to different driveshafts they must have fitted the wrong one, thier fuck up get them to sort it
