What BHP roughly?

   im going to look at a VTR after which has a kent cam in it,
   
   chipped and remapped according to the guy, had breathing mods bar manifold
   
   roughly what BHP would the car be looking at? the guy has said he was told it came off the rollers with 152 BHP after the mapping..
   
   the engine is mk1 silver top..

   Id go and ask him if he'd part ex for a barbie jeep from toys r us, tell him its 100bhp. See what his reaction is then tell him if you think im that gullable to belive that then il offer you the gullable payment ere.

   had a feeling it was aload of bollox, ill still see the car, as the dude selling it bought it as it was, and he never done the work, ohh but the rocker cover will be coming off me thinks before any dosh is handed over

   My vts is only making 130bhp with 4-2-1, full exhaust, decat and green filter.
   So unless he has seriously lairy cams and an aftermarket ecu then he wont get near that.
   
   Id say closer to 120bhp at most. Ask for rolling road figures etc if he is claiming its 150bhp.

   He has no print outs! He was told all this when he bougt the car! So im gna tke my tools down with me and whip rocker off andd see if theres any markings! Im gna give its a big inspection!

   plus.. you can't chip and remap a car, well you could although it would be pretty pointless as they both do the same thing in the end, only difference ones burnt to a seperate chip and the others written onto the existing software.
