Im upgrading my brakes so i need ot know do VTR/S calipers bolt straight onto previous 1.1 Brakes? Or is there anything similar to VTR/S brakes that will?

    Whaaaa....?

    Right, you need

    VT* calipers
    VT* discs
    VT* pads
    VT* caliper bolts

All of that will bolt straight on. No you can't use your 1.1 ones.

    (I trust you're on 4 stud right?)

As Mikol said, if you cant get Saxo VT parts ones off 106 GTI, 106 Rallye, 106 XSI or AX GTI parts will all ok work too.

I have a set for sale. With brand new discs, pads. The only thing missing is the vt bolts. But didn't know you needed different bolts

As above, 106 GTi, VTR, VTR and 106 S2 Rallye are the ones you want.

106 S1 Rallye, XSi and AX GTi use the same disc but the calipers are an inferior design.

And yeah adamski, the bolts are about half as long since they don't use the homo bendix 'wear indicator' design and instead use a conventional caliper/carrier setup.

I already have the discs, pads im just asking if the calipers would fit as im not going to buy them if they dont? So im guessing they do fit thanks for asking my question

I'm a bit confused in what your asking but will try an answer. The 1.1 Saxos use totally different pads then all the VT models so there not interchangeable. The same goes for the discs the VT uses a much wider disc with air vents in the middle. These are not interchangeable with the 1.1 discs. You have to swap everything Mikol listed above if you wish to swap from one brake type to another.

Maybe i didnt make myself clear enough i was trying to ask if VT calipers would bolt straight onto my arms so i remove the 1.1 calipers then in place put the VT calipers just forget it anyway i already found out what i was looking for
