    the rear tyres are going bold on the inside of the tread, does this mean the axle needs replacing?

    Usually, check for camber if the wheels are like /----\ or sometimes /----|

    If you leave it too long it will look like this _----_ lol.

    Don't always have to change the entire rear axle mate, you can just replace the bearings/bushes

    has your car been lowered etc if so this can effect the tracking

    not lowered. compleatly standard. looking like /----\
    so you think it could be camber? is that a job for the garage?

    Mine was doing it mate, and the axel had been fucked around with beofre I bought it standard, could only tell cos when i got the car up in the air there a delivery note sticker underneath on the rear beam and i know it was a bodge. The drivers side camber was much worse for the camber, bald on the inside and about 5mm of tread on the outside.

    I ended up getting a recon beam off im axles.
