speedo/rev counter etc problem

   has anyone had a problem with their dash pod that holds the speedo/ rev counter etc
   mine just goes off then comes back on all the time when driving
   not sure if its the pod its self or a electrical problem
   thought it might be a good idea to ask on here first to see if its a common problem
