Oil sump

   For a 1999 vtr where can i get an oil sump & shells from? is it a big job to do? any avice etc would be great cheers.

   ebay or any good motor factors i can sell you a sump if you need one shells are relativley easy to change once the sump off

   Is it knocking? if the shells are gone the crank will probibly be scored. regrind or get a new crank or engine, if you slap in new shells and the crank is scored it will munch the shells again quickly

   It's not knocking in that way but sounds like tappy from the bottom? maybe the tappets need doing?
