16v ECU Pin Diagrams

    Does anyone have any versions of these other than the single plug one in the Haynes bible?

    After both single and 3 plug versions...i feel a custom adaptor loom coming on

    check the faq's sure theres some in there, or one of the stickies

    wouldnt it be the same wiring just the wires split up into 3 plugs? i duno just wondering

    Quite possibly but need to know which is which so i can making a loom to splice between the two

    your looking to put a 1 plug in your 3 plug to run pred yes?

    i was just saying as the wires are numbered,i have been looking at the wiring diagrams to sort out my central locking(no luck yet) so i thought it would be the same princible

    Certainly am but crossover looms are evading me hence the custom loom

    same mate, nearly had one but it wasnt lol, im going to just wire any single plug in, only prob is i live a long way from andy, and wont be able to try the car once its wired in, it will be literally wire it in, fit the turbo, and hope for the best, the turbo kit doesnt bother me, but the running/wiring does, its a long way to travel if its fucked up

    The problem with the single plug to 3 plug loom is, you have to wire in a seperate switch for the fans, and a line to power the fuel pump.

    Really?

    Fans are done already (well one is but other can be done easily enough)

    Just power to the fuel pump or a switch too?

    Fan can just be plugged into the temp plug on rad as my fan to ecu had stopped working.

    Temp plug was only on the earlier rads so you might not have one. you can either fit an earlier rad and use the switch in that (and a relay!). Or you can get aftermarket fan cotnrol kits, or you can build your own using an voltage comparator circuit and the spare aircon sensor.

    I have the diagrams and pinouts of the multiplugs but im not allowed to share them, if you get stuck on anything specific i may be able to help though

    Liaise with me regarding the fuel-pump activation, I can tell you which wire FP activation should be on the single plug loom.

    Can i ask why your not allowed to share them?

    Specific's won't occur for a long time without pinout details

    Ive got 2 nissens rads 1 on my car atm and got one off a car from scrapyard off a gti. The 1 i have has 2 pins for the sensor and new one has 3 which i just realised yesterday. Mine just has a earth and positive to it and works fine.
