   Hey, Okay iv just bought a 4 2 1 ss manifold for my vts and was wondering if it was worth heat wrapping it as iv heard stories of the manifold cracking if its heat wrapped not to sure myself was just looking for some info Cheers

   IMO would say don't wrap it because whe you wrap it you are keeping all the heat in which is why thy tend to crack alot easier

   Wouldn't they be more likely to crack through cooling down quicker?

   I have herd that but chances of that hapanin is slim but if you do wrap it then the exhaust gases move more freely though it makin it easier for the engine to push out and also keeping engine bay temps down therfor cooler intake temps

   id say do it if u have the money and the time/patience, but i personally wouldnt do it as im too lazy lol
