Important! : need help, disk conversion

    right i am in need of some help guys. i have a 1.4i mk1 westcoast 98 and ive been looking for a rear axle from a vtr/s to do a rear beam conversion so i can have calipers on the back, i have now fround one and am going to refurb the beam aswell, my questions are basicly:

    what do i need to refurb the rear axle properly

    do i need to buy anything speciasl so that i can fit it onto my wetcoast

    its an abs model, but i dont want abs, can i still use this axle,

    and anything that you guys can help me out on or extra info that you think i may need please tell me.

    yes you can use the abs axle. as to what you need to refurb the beam, all depends on wether the stub pins where the trailing arms pivot are shot. At very minimum you'll need a seal and bearing kit available from IM axles on here

    yeah i spoke to im axles earlier and he said all you would need is the bearings kit, ok no worrys thanks for your quick reply bud

    If it's an early ABS beam it will go right on. The last of the ABS models has no bias valve on the beam so will not go on until you get one or you rear wheels would have to much bias.
